Today's topic is from past when I went to Shigeno Tamazato store for Bento, which I mentioned in first post.

This Shigeno is quite popular store who play sports like volleyball and basketball since there are gymnasium near by called Ryuyukan.

Everyone go this place to buy Bento when there is a game match.

The time I arrived this store was just passed 12 o'clock, which I thought a bit late for buying lunch. Usually people buys before noon, so small Bento shops are closed after 12 o'clock. But this Shigeno is the local grocery store which also sells Bento, meaning it is open whole day.

But not only that, people are coming and coming on that timing, too. And store is serving more and more freshly made Bento from inside. It was week day, and people from municipal office near by and road construction worker are coming to buy right after lunch break started, it seems.

As a result, anyway, I could buy freshly cooked hot Bento, even without price label sealed. When I visited previously, that was around 11 o'clock, Bento were prepared but only about 80% of the wagon capacity. So for Shigeno store, the peak time is after 12.

I felt lucky that I could eat freshly made meal by buying Bento.

Bento in Shigeno basically fulfils construction workers stomach. Enough for adult. Red fish came from surrounding ocean of Amami, no sign of frozen taste.
Side dish "Yasai" (local amamian stewed vegetables) was very tasty.

"Miso peanuts" (local Amamian food) was very delicious too, that I went back again to buy one pack of Miso peanuts!

Place I ate Bento was "Fureai Park Sedome"

No one mentioned in Google yet, but you can sit under roof of gazebo. Therefore very nice shade for summer.

All in all, Shigeno sells variety of Bentos and side dishes, from before to after noon time, so you cannot go wrong visiting this store.
